To Instant Bollywood, Daisy Shah revealed that she wasn't shocked or surprised as reports of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding hit headlines. She stated that those who were aware of their relationship weren't shocked. She then spoke about the wedding invite that also had an audio note attached. Daisy Shah mentioned that she liked the invite as it is not very typical. She also mentioned that the invite justifies the statement made by Shatrughan Sinha had kids don't seek permission these days. Daisy Shah was quoted saying, "It had a snowy background. It is very modern and fresh. Like Shatrughan Sinha ji rightly said, 'Aaj ke bachche inform karte hai, permission nahi lete'. Their wedding invite completely justifies that statement."
In the wedding invite, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal reflect on their 7-years relationship on how they went from 'rumoured girlfriend/boyfriend' to 'to being each other's definite and official husband and wife.'
