Their dreamy wedding was held in Italy and the couple held a grand reception party in Delhi and Mumbai for their friends. In a recent chat, veteran Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan who performed at the Delhi reception for Virat and Anushka revealed that he was also in for a surprise at the function. He said that he had no clue that he was going to perform at the cricketer's wedding. Maan revealed that he was feeling left out as he was not invited for the reception, but had no clue that Virat had plans to surprise him.
Talking to Mashable India, Gurdas Maan shared that Virat loves him and he thought that the cricketer invited everyone, but not him. He said that he had no clue that he was going to perform there. Gurdas Maan said that he knew that he had a performance in Delhi but did not know that it was for his reception.
He further added that Virat had already said that this was a surprise and the organizers were specifically told not to tell Gurdas Maan. He also said that after he reached the venue, he was surprised as he started singing. Gurdas recalled the songs he performed at the reception and shared how Virat was translating the Punjabi lyrics in Anushka's ear.

He even said that the reception was a lot of fun and recalled after the party now whenever he performed at weddings in Delhi, people request him to perform the same set.
