Celebrity MasterChef keeps trending on social media as soon as the episode airs. The show has become very popular online. Though the TRPs are not great, we see a lot of buzz on social media. The show is definitely doing great on OTT it seems. Two weeks have passed and the level of the show is just going higher and higher. It is a treat to watch our favourite celebrities showing their cooking talent. Farah Khan is the host of the show while we have Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna as the judges of the show.
Talking about the contestants of the first season of Celebrity MasterChef, we have Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Gaurav Khanna, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Abhijeet Sawant, Kabita Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu showing off their cooking skills.
The best dish of the day!
However, we saw the first elimination last week. Chandan was eliminated from the show. But, this week, we had a wild card entry as well. Yes, Bollywood actress Ayesha Jhulka entered the show as the wild card contestant. It was her first episode today and she nailed it. Though her dish was not the best one, it did get compliments from the judges.
Tejasswi and Dipika are considered as the best contestants. They have proved it with their cooking skills that they are tough competitors for everyone. However, today, it was not a good day for them. Tejasswi, Dipika and Rajiv were in the bottom three. Dipika's dish was declared the worst and she got the black apron. This means, Dipika will directly go to the elimination round.
Talking about the best dishes, Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh and Nikki Tamboli's dishes were the top three. Faisal Shaikh aka Faisu made the best dish. The judges praised him and Vikas Khanna even said that he has use this dish in his restaurant. The judges even asked the other contestants to taste his dish as he had the perfect balance with flavours.
