Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have been witnessing high-voltage drama in their current plot. In the current episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira sits with her baby and finds comfort. Armaan notices it and yells at her for getting close to the baby as she has recently recovered from an illness. Ruhi steps in to support Abhira and Armaan that he should be more mindful of his words.
The entire family reaches the temple to attend the Nahavan ceremony and the rituals begin. Armaan snatches Pookie from Abhira's hand and makes her feel left out. After the ceremony, Armaan raises his voice and tells them to be silent. Abhira on the other hand seems to be a bit disturbed with the dream she watched last night. During a food distribution activity at the temple, Vidya offers to carry the baby. She wants Abhira to serve the food. Later, Abhira notices that Vidya and Pookie are missing and this causes immediate panic among the family.
Armaan loses his calm and blames Abhira for not being careful. Vidya takes Pookie to the other side of the temple to carry out a small ritual to keep bad luck away. Suddenly, Vidya comes across a nurse and a few unfamiliar men. They start threatening and blackmail her. They try to take Pookie forcefully and Vidya tries to get away. Abhira suddenly feels something is wrong and hurries to look for them. She finds Vidya being cornered and grabs the baby. Madhav calls the cops and Abhira calls Armaan for help.
Abhira hides Pookie in a large box and finds a nearby drum to conceal it. Abhira faces the men and Armaan arrives to help her. They manage to overpower the men and Abhira suddenly notices that the baby has been mistakenly taken away by someone during their fight. Armaan gets angry at Abhira and yells at her for not protecting the baby. He accuses her of being responsible for the child's disappearance. Armaan's words cause pain to Abhira. What will happen next?
