As per reports, stars like Mamta Kulkarni, Khushi Mukherjee, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Daisy Shah, Tanushree Dutta, Khushi Dubey, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Faisal Khan, Ram Kapoor, Sharad Malhotra, Raj Kundra, Gaurav Taneja, Paras Kalnawat, Shashank Vyas and others have been approached for the show. However, the list has not been finalised yet.

Now, the latest reports in Telly Chakkar say that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Lata Saberwal has been approached for the show. The actress has been in the news for her divorce. Lata got divorced with husband Sanjeev Seth recently. They both played husband and wife in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. We have all known them as Rajshri and Vishambhar Maheshwari in the serial.

Salman Khan will reported start shooting for the promo soon. It is also being said that the show will go on for five months and will be the longest season. But, Salman Khan will host only for three months and later, we might see Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor or Farah Khan taking over.
