Shah Rukh Khan turns 60: Huge cowd gathers outside Mannat, forces police to impose restrictions

Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, turns 60 today, and this is a moment of celebration for all the fans and lovers. As expected, they could not keep their calm as they gathered outside Shah Rukh's house, Mannat, for his midnight birthday appearance. On Saturday, November 1, during the night, his bungalow was surrounded by fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar. The admirers could be seen in T-shirts with Shah Rukh's pictures on them, carrying posters, flyers, and banners. Videos from the place clearly show how keen they were to meet the star.

 

 

Fans gather outside Mannat, police takes measures

In the middle of the crowd was perhaps one of the biggest fans of Shah Rukh, who traveled all the way from Kolkata just to be included in the celebration. In a conversation with ANI, he said, "I have come from Kolkata with my team 'SRK Warriors'... We have undertaken a 33-hour-long train journey just to have a glimpse of SRK."

The passion and zeal of the fans was unbroken, even with renovations going on at the DDLJ star's house. The tradition of fans gathering outside his abode holds special value today, as the actor is turning 60. Various videos from the place were shared, with people showing their excitement over the actor.

In one of the clips going viral, workers in hard hats was spotted working near the gate of the bungalow. This made some people speculate if Shah Rukh would even be getting out for his traditional midnight glimpse at all. Earlier, during an Ask SRK session that took place on X (formerly Twitter), someone raised this question to him, to which he had replied, "Of course but may have to wear a hard hat!!!"
